  Great local steak and seafood type restuarant with some game food like Quail and Bison. The prices are not too bad and the service was fantastic! Try the brisket you will not be dissapointed!

  There is very little about Saltgrass that we do not like. The staff at the Conroe location are very courteous and are on top of their game. The manager came by our table and made sure everything was to our satisfaction, that was a great personal touch. The restaurant is very comfortable and we do not feel out of place here. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is always top notch. We've eaten here here for years and keep coming back, we have never gotten a bad meal or a bad server. More restaurants need to look at Saltgrass' business model and take note. Even when we come during busy hours or a busy holiday night we do not wait an unreasonable time to be seated. We joined the Landry's Select Club and priority seating is a real plus, especially when we have my 100 year old grandmother and 83 year old mother with us and it's important that we get seated fast. We have met friends here several times after work for drinks and conversation. The bar area is comfortable and quiet and a great place for conversation without having to yell over a loud radio or a rowdy crowd. We always have a good time at Saltgrass without breaking the budget.
